Are you feeling called to join the Catholic Church?
Are you thinking about becoming a Catholic? Do you want to follow Jesus Christ, as a member of the one Church He founded, for the rest of your life? This is the first step in a lifelong journey of discipleship! This is the Catholic Church’s process to bring people, through study, spiritual growth, and community, into the heart of Holy Mother Church. Formally, it is called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), which is our formation process for adults who desire to follow Jesus Christ and be a member of His Catholic Church.
Who should join?
Those who have never been baptized.
Those who were baptized in another Christian faith tradition, grew up in a Christian family, and have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Those who were baptized in another Christian faith tradition but did NOT grow up in a Christian setting or family.
Those who were baptized Catholic but want to learn more about the Catholic Faith.
Those who were baptized Catholic but did not grow up in a Catholic setting or family.
There is also an option for Children (OCIC) which focuses on teaching both children and parent through formation. Children ages 8+ participate in OCIC instruction if they are unbaptized, or baptized in another Christian faith.
