St. Bernard offers training for youth in grades 6th and above who have an interest in developing their vocal gifts as cantors.
Choir is another way to share the gift of music with our parish. Youth in 2nd grade and above are invited to participate in choirs at our weekend Masses, or our special events and liturgies that focus on our children. Teens who play guitar or piano are also invited to be involved at our weekend Masses and our religious education music days.
We also offer monthly Praise and Worship music during our Religious Education classes with Father Bower and our youth accompanists. We work to learn new songs and develop their love and familiarity with the music sung at our liturgies throughout the year.
Magbee's Youth Group (Magnanimous Believers)
Our youth group for children is hosted monthly on Tuesday evenings. We begin with evening Mass at 6pm and wrap up by 8pm. Pizza, snacks and drinks are provided. We do a faith component, crafts, games and fun! Teen volunteers are always welcome to help out!
High School Formation Youth Group
Our High school formation group meets twice per month during the school year. All teens and their friends are welcome to come learn about our Catholic Faith, participate in Lectio Divina, small groups and great conversation. We also include reflections with adoration and live music opportunities. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Altar Server Opportunites

Server trainings are offered at scheduled times and we also offer training opportunities during religious education for interested individuals. Please prayerfully consider joining the server team, as more of our teens are graduating high school, young servers are needed to join. This is a beautiful opportunity for an even more enriching experience at our Masses.

We will announce the dates as soon as they are available for pre=planning activities around the retreat dates!
